Music Biography 

Born in the Connemara Gaeltacht, visual artist and multi lingual singer Ceara Conway has gained recognition for her singing in traditional repertoires across cultures Portuguese, Arabic song, Georgian Chant with a primary focus on Irish traditional sean nós. The essence of her music is its unique hybridity, a merging of her love and respect for tradition coupled with her interest in new  styles,  genres and contemporary music. 

Musicians she has performed with include Nick Roth, Caoimhín O Raghallaigh, Nóirín Ni Rian, Linda Buckley, Brighde Chaimbeul, LAU and the Irish Memory Orchestra.  She has  performed at the National Gallery of Ireland, the Irish Embassy in Paris & Irish Embassy in Berlin and for private events for visiting heads of state such as Christine Lagarde, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Jean Claude Juncker.

CEARA CONWAY - CAOIN - AUTUMN TOUR 2022 

CAOIN explores the sensibilities of the ''cry'' within a select collection of Irish sean nós and world music laments lullabies, praise and love songs with newly composed contemporary arrangements . Produced by Seán Mac Erlaine and featuring acclaimed musicians Ultan O'Brien, Kevin Murphy of Slow Moving Clouds, Seán Mac Earlaine and Anna Mullarkey.
